Eunicea palmeri

(Bayer 1961)
This Eunicea has long, slender branches, tending to appear straggly. Colonies are candelabrum shaped when young but then becoming bushy, reaching up to 35 cm tall. In larger colonies, branching occurs along the lengths of the branches, not only from around the basal area.

Calices are protuberant as in all members of this genus, but much less so than several other species of Eunicea.
