Hyrtios cavernosus

(Pallas 1766)
This has many overall similarities to Ircinia, in that the surface is covered with numerous small cones, connected by a net of small ridges, and colonies are black.

However, exhalent pores are not as large, and are more generally scattered over the surface rather than being clumped into large groups in depressions. The pores also tend to have thin lips.
