Muriceopsis bayeriana
Colonies are yellowish and are bushy, being groups of stubby branches, rarely more than 20 cm tall. They are shorter than other species of Muriceopsis shown here.
They may give the appearance of being collections of short, vertical fingers projecting upwards from a spreading base, though branching is seen along the lengths of these fingers. Calices are conspicuous.
