Aplysina cauliformis B(Carter 1882)
A rope sponge, always mauve or brownish, forming erect, tall branches, but not tangled masses.

The exhalent pores are arranged in rows aligned along the branches, and have depressed pores.

N.B. S. Zea states the two forms named here as A and B are two different species, though the names have not yet been confirmed.
